OUR STORY
From our family
to yours
For us, Greek food has never been just a meal. It is a way of caring for people.
Peter Theodoropoulos founded Mythos in Flushing in 2001, and it became the Greek community's table in Queens. His son Jimmy grew up in that kitchen, learning that a neighborhood restaurant is built on generosity, consistency, and knowing the people you cook for.
Jimmy's mother Athina still cooks in the family kitchen in Flushing. The recipes on this menu are the ones Jimmy grew up on — his father's table, his mother's cooking.
Today, Mythos Kitchen in Roslyn is Jimmy continuing his father's legacy — the same home-style Greek cooking. “I'm just continuing his legacy of Mythos.”
